How Many Homebuilders Are There?
At the end of 2007, there were 47 traditional home building companies (built 5 or more single-family, detached homes in 2007) in Southern Nevada, compared with 77 at the end of 2006. The historic high was 179 homebuilders in 1996, and the number has decreased annually, with the exception of 2004, for a variety of reasons.
